“Failed Family Photos” Photo Contest

Huntington Beach, CA – MailPix.com, the newest online photo-printing site, announced “Failed Family Photos” is the topic of its monthly photo contest conducted on its Facebook page, now underway. The MailPix Facebook community will determine three finalists, with the winner chosen by MailPix receiving $500.

“Holiday photos are the cornerstone of family memories,“ says Fred H. Lerner, president and CEO, MailPix Inc. “Sometimes, however, things don’t go as planned. We’d like our Facebook friends share their holiday mishaps and to preserve those memories forever with prints, photo books, photo gifts, canvas prints and more.”

Lerner also announced Linda from California is the winner of $500 in in the “Halloween Fun” contest. Her winning photo can be seen on the MailPix Facebook page.

Contest Details

The contest begins Nov. 14, 2012 at 12:01 PST and ends Jan. 7, 2013 at 11:59 PST (the contest period). Entries that are submitted before or after the Contest Period will be disqualified. Public voting for the contest begins Jan. 8, and runs through the end period of Jan. 12, 2013. During which time, members of the Facebook general public will vote for three potential contest finalists. On Jan. 12, 2013, public voting ends. MailPix will select a winner from the three finalists, and will attempt to notify the potential winner via telephone or email on or about Jan. 13, 2013. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within five days after the date of the first attempt to contact him/her, MailPix may select an alternate potential winner in his/her place at random from the remaining non-winning, eligible entries.
