MailPix Debuts Holographic Canvas Prints

Huntington Beach, CA – MailPix.com, the photo-printing and gifting site, has released the first version of its new holographic canvas print process. Not content with a mere two-dimensions for its high-quality inkjet prints, MailPix HoloCan prints use LED projection arrays cleverly hidden within the canvas frame to make three-dimensional images appear as if they are floating in the air. HoloCan prints are available in a variety of sizes, ranging from a desktop-size 8-by-10 to a 20-by-40 inch size.

“MailPix is excited to be on the forefront of photo printing technology,” says Fred H. Lerner, founder and CEO. “Our R&D labs have been working overtime to develop the affordable HoloCan solution. Fortunately, our offices are located above a Starbucks.”

To create the holographic prints, users must use the free patent-pending MailPix HoloCam app, available soon for iOS, Android, Blackberry and GameBoy Advance mobile platforms. Simply open the app, focus on the subject, and tap the “holo” icon; holding the camera steady as you circle the subject. (For best results, subjects should remain completely still.) The HoloCam app produces a 10 GB image files; users should use WiFi to upload.

HoloCan prints are not ready to order, but MailPix customers can save 75 percent on all canvas prints using the promo code “APRILFOOLS“.
